4th Bioeconomy Stakeholders conference 12-13 April, Utrecht

The bioeconomy on land and sea offers great opportunities for sustainability, rural and coastal development and industrial renaissance. The bioeconomy is also key to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals, including the Cop21 agreement to address climate change.  Developments in the bioeconomy are moving ahead fast in the world so we need to act now to start building a sustainable future.  The only successful way to do that is via involving all societal stakeholders. That is why this Bioeconomy Stakeholders Conference is so important: it gives us a platform where we can learn from each other and work together towards building the bioeconomies that we want to have in Europe. In addition, BioEconomyUtrecht2016 will provide important feedback for the review of the Bioeconomy strategy.
