Smart, green and integrated transport

The Transport Challenge ‘Smart, green and integrated transport’ aims at achieving a European transport system that is resource-efficient, climate- and environmentally-friendly, safe and seamless for the benefit of all citizens, the economy and society.

The Specific Programme is structured in four broad lines of activities aiming at a resource efficient transport that respects the environment, better mobility, less congestion, more safety and security, global leadership for the European transport industry and socio-economic and behavioural research and forward looking activities for policy making.

These activities are addressed in this Work Program by three Calls for proposals:

1.      Mobility for Growth including Aviation, Rail, Road, Waterborne, Urban Mobility, Logistics, Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), Infrastructure and Socio-Economic and Behavioral Research and forward looking activities for policy making

2.       Green Vehicles including batteries, electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles and natural gas powertrains

3.       Small Business and Fast Track Innovation for Transport

Total budget for 2014-2020: 6339M€
